Ida is currently a tropical cyclone. The system will continue to track the northeastern United States for the next few days, bringing heavy rains, gusts, and isolated tornadoes to the region.
Kate is currently a tropical cyclone on the Mid-Atlantic coast. Current trucks move the storm north and away from the United States.
There is still turmoil near Africa, which we have been monitoring since last week. This system is likely to become a tropical cyclone or tropical cyclone within the next 5 days (90%).
The latest model guidance suggests that it is likely to turn north after the system is formed. This is a good sign to check, as it suggests that the system is likely to move away from Florida.
