The· National Hurricane Center On Monday morning, it announced that a cyclone about 100 miles east of Cape Hatteras has officially become a tropical cyclone 2.
The storm continues to intensify and is expected to become a tropical cyclone building later Monday.
The storm is not expected to pose a threat to people and property on land, as did the first Anna of the season.

The system is moving northeast at 21 mph and is expected to continue to be strengthened until Tuesday and dissipate without landing on Wednesday.
The third tropical cyclone can be a tropical cyclone clodette by the weekend.
From Houston to New Orleans, heavy rains and gusts can occur in the western and central states of the Gulf Coast.
