Hatta also stated that the body would be transported to Indonesia on a Hercules plane at 7 a.m. local time. The Yudhoyono family will organize another funeral for her at their Cikeas home. Ani will be buried at Kalibata Heroes Cemetery in South Jakarta.
“I would like to extend my thanks to all Indonesians who had been praying for her health, as well as to her relatives and friends who visited her in the hospital. Please pray for the family so they can get through this difficult time,” Hatta said.
Ani died at 67 years old in Singapore at 11:50 a.m. local time on Saturday after battling blood cancer since February. She is survived by her husband, former president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, two sons, two daughters-in-law and four grandchildren. (swd)
