Meanwhile, the company has launched the Redmi 7 in China at a price of 699 Yuan which translates into Rs 7,150. The Xiaomi Redmi 7 features a 6.26-inch HD+ display with 720x1520 pixel resolution. The display is protected with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor paired with 2GB/3GB/4GB of RAM. The device offers 16GB/32GB/64GB of internal storage which can be expanded further by adding a microSD card.
The smartphone runs Android 9.0 Pie topped with a coating of MIUI 10 layer of customisation. The smartphone comes with dual SIM fucntioanlity and it comes equipped with a rear mounted fingerprint sensor. The device sports a dual rear camera setup with 12MP main sensor with LED and a 2MP secodary shooter. There's also an 8MP front camera for selfies. The smartphone is backed by a 4,000 mAh battery and it offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, WiFI, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options. Along with the Xiaomi Redmi 7 the company also launched the 6GB RAM and 128GB variant of Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro in China. The main highlight of the smartphone is its 48MP rear camera.
