Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26, but Marvel fans eagerly awaiting the showdown 10 years in the making can reserve their seats now. Tickets for the hotly anticipated film, set to wrap up the various and sundry threads of the MCU’s Phase Three, were released on Tuesday.
For those who need a refresher on the events leading up to Endgame, both AMC and Alamo Drafthouse are running marathon screenings, culminating in a screening of Avengers: Endgame. Similar marathons were released before Infinity War last year, but it mercifully didn’t feature the entire canon. Marvel is going all out for Endgame though, screening all 22 films in the MCU.
Those masochistic, (er, dedicated) fans willing to sit through nearly 60 hours of footage will be rewarded with seeing the film an hour before the general public, at 5 p.m. local time on Thursday, April 25. Or you could just take a shortcut and watch the 11 movies that are actually crucial to the Avengers mythology.
While details are scarce about what to expect after half the world was snapped out of existence, that hasn’t stopped fans from mining the trailers and posters for clues, memes, and theories. We can only assume that the movie won’t end with Ant-Man crawling up Thanos’ butt and exploding him from the inside, but you know what they say about assuming...
Avengers: Endgame tickets are on sale now via Fandango or from your local theater’s box office. Check if your city is hosting a marathon at AMC or Alamo Drafthouse.
