January transfer window: Peter Crouch set for top-flight return with Burnley - The Times

Peter Crouch is on the verge of a return to the top flight with Burnley at the age of 38.

The forward has scored 108 goals in 462 games for six clubs in the Premier League and will have a medical today before moving from Stoke City. Sean Dyche, the Burnley manager, said that he was not optimistic about the club’s efforts to sign Che Adams from Birmingham City.
